Jam Session

The unique jazz evening at the Louis Bar

The legendary “Jam Session,” which has been taking place every Thursday from 9 p.m. since 1996, has become an integral part of the Hotel Montana Lucerne. You, dear guests, can enjoy a musical evening of traditional jazz, mainstream, and bebop that will thrill and enthrall you.

The standard trio consists of: 
Otto Ökrös on piano, Jimmy Wettach on bass, and Chris von Hoffmann on drums.
The following musicians can be found there regularly in varying combinations: Scott Sandel (guitar), Rolf Treichler (trombone), Mario Schneeberger (sax), Martin Simmen (trombone), Beat Ramseier (b), Richard Lipiec (sax), Pius Baumgartner (sax, cl), etc.

Musicians who have the necessary know-how are welcome and invited to join in the jam session.
