Excursions

Both the city of Lucerne and the Lake Lucerne Region are often referred to as the "essence of Switzerland". In a small amount of space, this region embodies almost everything that is a part of Switzerland: a city whose old town dates back to the Middle Ages, a lake with Europe's most extensive inland navigation and a panorama of the Alps, all of which provides an ideal setting for combining excursions and allowing the visitor to explore and experience the Lake Lucerne Region from a different angle.
